Our house is located in the perfect place, with restaurants, monasteries, viewpoints, churches and other attractions a few km away. The town is located in the very heart of the Ribeira Sacra and declared, in 2015, a municipality of tourist interest.
In addition to the fantastic view of the Ribeira Sacra, you can visit gems such as the ancient monastery of Santa Cristina de Ribas de Sil (built in the 10th century no less), the Chocolate House Museum in Teimende and the old hydroelectric power plant converted into a hostel , bar and restaurant now called Fábrica de Luz.
You can also visit, without traveling much distance, the rock necropolis of San Víctor in San Lorenzo de Barxacoba (one of the largest in all of Galicia) and appreciate the Ribeira Sacra mountains and its surroundings in great detail from viewpoints such as the Columna, Triguás, Cabezoás, Castro and Balcones of Madrid.
